Language FUNatics is a creative English learning club (KultureVerein), located in Vienna, that offers a spectrum of exclusive creative English speaking programmes. Children, teens & adults engage more with our subject matter, build confidence quickly and thrive in the "project constructed" learning environment.
Our structure is both pedagogic and FUN. We're here to give a positive learning experience in a tough field of study.
Our experience shows: the more the kids/teenages (& even adults!) engage in our project learning environment- the more they will practice alone at home or in their spare time.

What do we do?
Established in 2020, our goal was to produce a clear & articulated pedagogic process for children and teens to follow coherently, without big complicated textbooks, and produce a visible end result: their amazing final performances/films! We achieved this success and now offer our programmes to schools, event organisers and summer camps.
Our team comprises mainly of Native English speaker and creatives.
English is our study, play is our game and performance is our end result.
We offer "full immersion" theatre week courses (5 days), school curriculum and teaching, private theatre lessons, small group workshops, 1 day workshops, summer camp programmes & much more: check out our WORKSHOPS section for more information.
WORKSHOPS & COURSES
Theatre or Film Project Week!
In a studio, class room, gymnasium, or the whole school! - We offer a fully immersive 5 day (Mon-Fri) Theatre or Film experience:
Theatre includes a stage, set/prop construction, character creation and final performance. Plus! The actors/actresses will get to work with a professional director for 2 of the 5 days. The end show can be filmed and you can show everyone how amazing you are!
Film includes a variety of camera angle studies, story-boarding, how to edit a film, rhythm, shot selection, characters for the silver screen, trailer development and the chance to work with an expert in the field!

Summer Camps & Private Events
Our projects are the same for schools as they are for summer camps, home groups or private events.
We offer a fully immersive project outline, that aims at working on speaking confidence, the English language, projection and "get up & go".
PLUS: it's a lot of fun!
If you're running a summer camp this year, or you have a large private event- we can run day or week workshops that can fit easily into your programme.
As a one off fun activity- acting, improvising and team building.

As a whole week activity with a red carpet end result. We've got you covered.

We will explore play and what it means to be an actor, improvising as well as scripted acting!
They may be 8-12, but they can still produce amazing, dramatic, hilarious performances. sometimes kids on stage can make you laugh uncontrollably or cry cathartically.
